Much has been happening at Ballet Mississippi lately. During the year Ballet Mississippi and Encore Dance combined creative energy to return Cherri Barnett to Ballet Mississippi. With this merger, Ballet Mississippi School gained many new students, a few great teachers, and a new studio location at the Madison Square Center for the Arts.

As if this were not enough, Cherri had been working on developing a cultural exchange program with Madison, MS's sister city Solleftea, Sweden. Through the gracious support of many patrons, we were able to develop a tour that will take place June 2 - 10. Check our blog for our travel log and more details.

Ballet Mississippi continues to support the IBC City Dance Program. We donate studio space and, this past Spring, stage time.
