Join Ballet Mississippi for two weeks of intensive ballet training, plus lots of fun for students of all ages.

Ages 3-5
Ballet Mississippi offers several options for dance education this summer for children ages 3-5.  The sessions are

• June 18 – 21 at the Madison Square Center for the Arts from 9:00 a.m to noon
• June 25-28 at the Mississippi Arts Center from 9:00-12:00 noon
• June 25 - 28 at the Mississippi Arts Center from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

These classes include ballet and tap instruction, creative movement, and arts & crafts.  The students should bring a snack each day.  Dance attire should include a solid-colored leotard, ballet shoes, and tap shoes with tap buttons.  Pink tights and dance skirts are optional. Boys may wear black dance pants or shorts with a white t-shirt and black or white ballet shoes.  The cost is $125, plus a $25 non-refundable registration fee.

Ages 6-9
 The workshop for ages 6-9 will be June 25-28 at the Mississippi Arts Center from 9:00 a.m. - noon. Students will receive instruction in a variety of dance forms, including ballet, character dance, and jazz.  Dance attire includes a solid-colored leotard, pink tights, and ballet shoes.   Boys may wear black dance pants or shorts with a white t-shirt and black or white ballet shoes.  Students should bring a snack each day. The cost is $125, plus a $25 non-refundable registration fee.

Ages 10 & up
A two week workshop for ages 10 & up will be held July 9 - 20 from 9:00-3:00 p.m.   Students will receive instruction in a variety of dance forms, including ballet, jazz, modern, Irish, and character dance.  Students should bring lunch each day.  Previous dance experience is required.  The cost is $400 with a $25 non-refundable registration fee.
